Panning Hex Fuzz and using selective Hex VCF control to create lush tones

In this example, I have the Hex Fuzz turned up and I've panned the strings wide in the stereo field. There is also an expression pedal multed and connected to the Hex VCF Freq CV on strings 1,2, 5, & 6. This allows me to do filter sweeps with strings 3 & 4 remaining untouched as that is where I am playing the main riff.

I also have the clean monophonic guitar signal going into a reverb effect on the Milky Way.

Both the hex path and monophonic path are outputted into my DAW with no additional processing. At 0:56, I engage the Infinity sustainer on the Cycfi Thor guitar and use my free hand to turn up the feedback and volume on the Milky Way reverb while continuing to sweep the filter with the expression pedal. No cats were harmed in the making of this video!
