For this composition, I created a hex stepped effect send to provide a steady rhythmic base. The guitar's infinite sustain is keeping the notes ringing to keep the effect going. Linnstrument into Surge XT provides a second color in the end section.
Patch Notes
By changing the number of steps of each channel on the Knit Rider sequencer to 6, I set 1 gate step on steps 1-6 of each channel, respectively. This creates a sequence that steps through channels 1-6 one at a time. This is patched to the HEXasr/vca which sends a given string into the Milky Way Tape Echo. There is a slow lfo from ochd modulating the delay repeats. The mono guitar signal is also sent through a reverb and then out to the DAW separately.
